Monash Ball 2009- V.O.G.U.E

Yesterday was Monash Ball 2009.

It was really grand as there were many outstanding performers.

And they managed to get the dance floor heatedd up..lol

Yesterday, after our Microecononics class,

Four of us, Me, xin yin, grace and alice plus Ritchie went to Grace's house to prepare.

At around 2 something, we went to Grace's bro's salon to get our hair done:)

After that we went back to the house to start changing and make up.

The whole event was awesome. Seriously.

Well, today is the day.

I don't know why am I so excited actually..lol

But for sure is that it is going to be awesome!!!

anyway, I don't know how to dance.

So if anything happens*touchwood*(tripped, stepped on ppl's feet, etc.)

I will just sit down and talk haha.

Anyway, I plan to have a mini gathering at my house on the 2nd of october.

Hopefully most of my friends can come since i leave so far away from everybody else and ppl might not have time, etc.....

The 2 hours.

After Economics lecture, me and Xin Yin went to pyramid as I want to get something for prom.
We had popeye chicken as our lunch and then we walked around.

I got a nail polish drawing pin. Actually I bought this because I could get a LEE-MIN-HO plastic file if I spend 10 ringgit and above in a single receipt lol..
So yeah, here goes my 10 bucks.lol

Then Xin Yin dear got her nail stickers and Microsoft office software.

There's one thing that I want to complain.
Sunway Shuttle service is so not on time.
Almost late for class...GRRRR..

So we went to mid valley and had a chit chat session @ Secret Recipe.

Bowling Day!!!

We went to Sunway Pyramid today.

After eating lunch at Popeye Chicken,

We went for bowling.

OMG, we were so hyper at the bowling lane.

I didn't play very well today:(haha

i went to shop with xin yin, ian and theo yesterday.

We went to zara to look for ian's suit. (very expensive leh)

Later on, we decided to have our lunch at chilis.

After that, we walked around fo 4hours.

Xin yin managed to get herself a pair of shoes for the ball and accessories.

Then we had our dinner at Canton-i @ the gardens

Overally, i rate yesterday:

It was supposed to be a shopping day for me today.

We went there for one and a half hour.

Suddenly, I received a call from my mom saying that her engine died.

So, I had to leave my dearies and meet my mom.

Haiz, thought that it will be a fun day...

It's screwed. Nvm..

Tomorrow is going to be a FUN day as I will be shopping with my dear uni mates:)

Hello fellow readers, sorry for not updating my blog in ages.
Haha. If you have read my plurk and msn persona message, then you will know that I am super duper busy nowadays.
Thanks to the never ending assignments. T.T

For the whole week, I haven't been sleeping well. olted awake in the middle of the night after dreaming myself doing the unfinished assignments.
I never know that Uni is so stressed. Often I heard ppl saying that Uni life is one of the most enjoyable time.

Well, it's only true when it comes to activities.
But Exams and Assignments, they are never fun. I am damn stressed up k?!
I've never really experienced that in my previous study life.
Well, guess it's a kickstart to my future career life.

I am strong and I will adapt to it real soon.
This is a promise to myself:)

A happening day:)

Yesterday, I skipped economics class to attend the Taylor's Award Ceremony:-o
Evrything was fine except that I DIDN'T receive the RM 300 like last year:(

Then after the ceremony, I went to CHS to meet Jit Teng and the rest. We went to Amcorp Mall to buy presents.:)
The Yum Cha session was great:)
After that, I went back to Monash to pass up my assignment.
At first, I was so panic because I forgot the name to save my document so taht I can send it to my tutor.
So I called all my friends and no one picked up..In the end, I managed to contact Xin yin. Phew....and then later on Alice also gave me assistance.
After that, Shu Ling drove me to her home to attend her party.
The whole thing was awesome:)

I had a class today.
After the class, Me, Grace Alice, Xin Yin and Saw Jin went to sunway pyramid first before the karaoke session.

We had a mixed fruit milk ice at Ice Monster. And plus CAMWHORE!!!

Then later on we went to neway at subang for karaoke.. There are 12 of us all together..
Everyone seems to enjoyed the whole session:-))

I couldn't sleep last night.
Waiting anxiously for the time to passed by.

Luckily, I have someone to talk to, helping myself to ease my emotion.

I was lying on the bed, thinking of a lot of things. Really.

I was worried that I couldn't get a good result.

This morning, I jolted up and ran to my comp.

After, I've entered the website, I really don't dare to look at the screen.

Yea, I went to shop again yesterday, with my dear mommy.
It took me so long to just find a right shop to shop.
Initially, we walked to Isetan at The Gardens as it is the member's day sales.
We walked for like an hour and I still didn't manage to get anything:(
So, we returned to Mid Valley. We came across the ELLE shop and I pulled my mom in.
Sometimes, I believe that if we have fouund the right shop, shopping can be made in a very short time.
I was done shopping in half an hour and I managed to buy a few pieces of apparels.
I was really happy at that time..lol

Hope that there will be next shopping trip.:)

I love to go out with my mom because everything will be free for me:)

Orientation Bash

Monash is being so kind to organise a free trip for us to Port Dickson!
I had so much fun there.

Well, the only thing that I have to pay is that my whole bady ache after I came back from this event.

I've already experienced one week of uni life and I found that it's actually not bad:)

Friends, Lecturers, Campus and many more are fantastic I would say.

Except for assignments of course.

Many assignments' due dates are aroung Aug and Sept.

This will mean that I have fewer time to go out:(

Anyway, I am so ready to give a good kick-start for my uni life.

Recently, I've some conflict with my mom.

Well, it's about the same topic.

DRIVING TO UNI

She is still giving me plenty of excuses of not allowing me to drive.

SAFETY is the main issue.

so in return of her favour, I listedi down my points too.

Firstly, I will only drive when my timetable does not match with my sister.

Secondly, there is a in-the-campus parking.

Except that I have to pay 2 bucks per entry.

So it is perfectly safe.

So in the end, I won:)

So from now onwards I will drive on Thurs and Fri.

With condition: I can't go anywhere besides Uni =.=

Well, whatever lah.

As long as I get to drive. XD

I went for shopping today at mid valley with mom(my ATM..lol)

I bought quite a number of stuff

From top to bottom, and accessories:)

Due to the members' card day organised by JUSCO,

we had to reach mv so early in order to secure a parking place.

And in JUSCO, there are freaking lots of ppl.

Especially the marketplace.

I saw a lot of aunties and uncles lining up with a trolley..haha

We went to the apparel department instead of the supermarket.

Bought quite a lot of stuff.

One thing that I have to say is that the fragrance that I bought is worth every pence.

It's only RM 129 for the big bottle.

So today is the day.
The "long"-awaited orientation day is here.
Due to my sisters' schedule, I reached the uni at 7 am.
That's super early k?
So I waited there ALONE.
It's super scary loh because there's no one. Only the guards walking around.

7.30 am.
Building 2 was finally opened.
I walked in and sat at the lobby.
2 boys and 1 girl walked in and we started chatting.
At around 9, the girl and I registered and met with my ex classmates and we headed to the auditorium.
It was ok in the aud. It's just that the ang mah chancellor talked damn fast weh. Hardly heard what was he saying.
Then following was all the speeches.
There's one Indian speaker..Very funny. At least he managed to make everyone alive. Lol.

After spending our time in the auditorium, Xin Yin and I grabbed our food at the cafeteria.
The cafeteria is better than that one in Taylor's but still the choices are very limited.
How am I going to survive 3 years here?:(

Later, we lined up to register for the trip which is organised especially for new students. FOR FREE.:) while lining up, met a few friends and made new friends as well.
Then we moved on by playing games and I won a small price:)

A good way to start my new life:)

Tomorrow will be a hectic day for the schedule is from 9-5.
